Celebrating Christmas Eve
Spend Christmas eve with darling and sec 4 friends over dinner last night at Millennia walk. Wow, we got free deserts from the restaurant!!! Happy shalala. Watched the movie "King Kong" before the dinner at Jurong Point. Fabulous movie it was. The storyline kept making me anticipate what is going to happen next. 3 long hours of movie.
Off to Hainan Island at 2pm
I will be away from 25 to 29 Dec. Going on a tour with my family. It has been been years since we last went for a tour. Haha, don't know what I can see at Hainan Island. Hope to do lots of shopping there, cos the stuff there are generally cheaper than Singapore's.

The nerve-wrecking first public performance was finally over. The overall performance was well done la... no major mistakes except that I didn't coordinate properly with my partner Zhan Zhi and my arms sort of knock onto his shoulder hard. So sorry! Guess we both nervous la... that's y loh. Wahaha~
Special thanks to my uni buddies, Zhi Qiang and Otto for coming all the way down to Bugis support Li Ling, Lisa and me. Not forgetting a big THANK YOU to my darling la. He rushed down the to performance venue from his work just to see me in action in public for the 1st time and encourage me. So touched by my boyfriend and friends!
Shopping ain't my forte
Went to find place to makan dinner and shop-shop after the song-sign performance. Walked a lot man... super tiring for me la. I got poor stamina for shopping and Li Ling & Lisa enjoying themselves lots trying out the clothes and buying them. I also not bad la, i bought a white long-sleeved top from Samuel & Keith... to prepare for my Hainan Island tour cos the weather is going to be 10+ deg celsius.
Heehee, my darling also cannot tahan the long shopping hours... I cannot talk non-stop for hours but I can't do the same for shopping.
Mona Lisa's Smile
Watched the movie "Mona Lisa's smile" with my sis at home in the morning yesterday. Pretty good movie portraying the challenge against tradition of woman's roles in 1950s. Study so much and get a cert without continuing to pursue further education and only dreaming of getting married soon. Forming a family is important and women are trained to be "good" wives who will be submissive and supportive of their husbands. They wouldn't dare to to dream beyond the stereotype conventional way of thinking, neither do they dare to imagine being leaders of the society by having a profession like a lawyer.
I feel that we got to move on with the society changes and traditional ways of thinking are old school of thoughts which sometimes are obsolette. Shouldn't to follow stereotypes wrongly. Dare to dream and have goals (maybe short-term or long-term). Changes keep taking place all the time and the only thing which remains the same is change itself.
CCA keeps bubu busy like a bee... wong wong wong....
Really hard to find time to update this little blog of mine recently. Super occupied with my CCA stuff- Song-sign practices and the Farrago event. Must really say that I get very close to my Farrago pals.... they really got yi4 qi4 and we get along well despite them laughing at me for being "off" at times and even given me a sign-name who I refuse to accept (sorry peeps!). I see them for almost everyday in a week loh.... starting to get sick of one another... opps, we still have got a long way to go before our event is held, wahaha~
KBox with Farrago pals was fun and really tired my throat a lot yesterday, cos I did a lot of shouting. Present were: Me (of cos, how can i refuse karaoke?), Lisa, Alvin, Jia Lin, Li Ling, Rumin, Li Sheng, and other people from other centres... heehee~ I truly enjoyed myself lots lots... really looking forward to the next KBox session. Yipee!
Woo, went to Sentosa for 2 times so far this month... must be thinking that i very happening right... it's cca business again.. haha~ going to have an event held at sentosa in feb. Plans still tentative so can't talk much too. But can only complain that certain attractions are super eX loh like the Underwater world. Going to the free-of-charge places not too bad la, just that the sun is scorching man... so HOT! Always make my face red red like now loh.

Me and my Driving Lessons
Heehee... I had been going for my driving lessons recently. I still remember how to steer the wheel and change gear, not bad la... though I have not been gg for lessons for like four long months, wahaha~ I intending to do my final theory test late this yr or early next year. Trying to push myself harder cos my little sis also learning how to drive loh, cannot lose out to her since i've got a headstart.
Results released
It has been 2 nerve-wrecking days for NTU students, cos results are out mah. I was pretty slow in checking my grades cos unable to check online in first minute while i'm still outside. My results this time not as fantastic as last sem's but considered well done and I'm very very satisfied la. Didn't put in much effort this semester... lost the ME who will keep seeking for anwers and clearing doubts through long hours of internet research. Cos I realised that uni life is not just about studying and pursuing academic excellence. It's about pursuing self-fulfilment in fact... searching for my self. I'm still in the search and got to try out many many things things and even got a CCA.
Haha, one more funny way of thought here again... I feel that having a relationship doesn't pull down academic performance....
No idea why I keep mapling today whenever I got my hands on my computer. Interesting day~ I have finished with my 2nd job advancement... promoted from a magician to a wizard liao le. Now I'm a ice/lightning wizard... cool hor? Hmm... still very new to this job.. how should i get started? Pretty lost in what skill should i learn first. Went to read the guides for magician at http://www.hidden-street.net/.
Time to zzZZZ le.
Tmr still got to go kallang for cca. A long day ahead and bubu needs plenty of sleep~

Dating- Asian Civilisations Museum @ Empress Place
Went the Asian Civilisations Museum @ Empress Place with my darling yesterday. My second time there... the exhibits are still the same only that the special gallery is not opened yet... aiyah... a bit wasted. But nevermid, get to see many antiques and artefacts... know more about the southeast asia and india culture. The last time I went I don't really have much time to look at everything. Forgot to bring a camera along... or else I can take many nice nice pics for remembrance. There are a few computer terminals which u can play games at... quite cute la... learning in a fun way. I keep disturb the computer terminals which has narrator in them... got motion sensor, pretty cool. Then use the touch-on screen to get them to tell u story. "Hey Hey!!!" Darling must have find me crazy~ wahaha~

A red knitted scarf for my darling... this is my first production.
Easy steps- 2 knits and 2 purls alternating, 80 stitches horizontally. Simple and yet elegant design, stretchable, warm (good for winter), vibrant colour-red.
I hope to finish it before X'mas. Heehee~ Currently waiting for my new rolls of wool to arrive. I'm going to finish my 3rd roll of wool liao le.

Today is a CCA day. haha~ do I really look different with and without spectacles... a few pple got shock when they see me today... one goes," Wa! Never wear specs today ah, so different!"... the other goes, "What is your name, did you just join us for song-sign practice?" Maybe new friends cannot recognise me bah.. my old friends can recognise me easily! Dilemma- Drive or not to drive? Been a few months since I last went for my driving classes. I'm a slow learner in this area too, apart from song-signing. Now I don't really have the guts to go learn driving. No momentum to learn too. I've booked 2 weeks of lessons for the hols but I've not been to any... happily cancelled all the lessons for this week. I'm crazy liao le. Should I go for private instructor? Learning in driving school really costly($58.80 per lesson of 100mins) and hard to concentrate cos I keep changing driving instructors... school got fixed syllabus and they got some "waste-of-money" lessons. But some of my friends say that learning from school train u well for the circuit part of the practical driving test and don't have to have for so long for a test day. I don't really need to rush... cos it would be years later that I would have my own car to drive. My mummy refuses to let me drive her car even if i have a license in future... very demoralising hor? I guess i have to go take my final theory test before deciding whether to continue learning driving in school or go private bah. Sayonara to my friends gg for the Mt Ophir Trip I was able to go on the mt ophir trip too. Signed up and paid $20 of deposit and secured a place for myself. Then my determination swayed and put me off... i don't wish to go on the trip anymore. Just a few days ago, the trip leader Iskandar called to update me on the trip and I swayed again and wanted to go on the trip again. Cos i feel that it's a once in a lifetime experience and i don't wish to miss it... esp with my good buddies. Went to ask my parents for permission and both unisonly gave me the red light. They felt that my health is not good enough for the trip, sigh~ Very worried tat I would be a burden to the trip-goers and worst, afraid tat i may lose my life. I had Thalassemia Minor. Don't really know wad this blood disorder is about. Taking folic acid tablets everyday... getting frequent headaches... breathless when doing strenuous activities... With this illness in me, it stops me from being an active girl like wad other girls are. Sadded lei... Got to be very mindful of the activities on me and not exert too much stress for my body... my body cannot pump sufficient oxygen supply for me.
Had farrago meeting before the actual song-signing practice starts. Heehee~ finally we are getting somewhere cos we are confirming our venue for our annual event for the hearing impaired. Meaningful task to do to have HIs involved in team-building activities which I think they dun really have chance to be in. Are we really gg to Sentosa? It's good idea afterall... Sentosa has got nice sceneries, many camps are held there, not very expensive to run an event there, a tourist attraction somemore, plus we have chance to see hunks, babes and hunk-wanna-bes & babe-wanna-bes.

I must admit that I'm the weakest link. Hmmm... no idea why I so kan chiong and unable to catch up with the tempo of the song. Seniors all noticed my flaws and weaknesses.
