Yesterday was da nian chu yi. As usual my family will go house-visiting at Malaysia early in the morning to send new year greetings to my paternal side's relatives.
Stop #1 Eldest aunt Da Gu's house: Chatted with my 3 lovely cousins. I got special interest in AhZhen's new part-time job.. haha~ can get contact lens from her at discounted price in future man. Nice! I never stopped eating at my Da Gu's house. I like the Ng Gu Kueh (not ang gu kueh) she made herself... took quite a few home to Singapore. First time being a passenger on my cousin's car with AhZhen and AhZhuZhu jie jie as drivers. Lucky me and my mei mei!!!
Stop #2 Eldest uncle Da Bo's house: Went visit his house this time round. Haven't been to his house for ages. He was pretty sick this time round, so decided to pay him a visit. I had fun looking at my cousin, RuiQin's wedding and honeymoon photos... so sweet... they said that it is cheap to take wedding photos in Malaysia and there are many places suitable for outdoor shoots as compared to the tiny red dot... heehee~ Got an additional ang pao this year cos RuiQin is married le... the first and only married cousin from father's side so far. Jia you my other cousins... looking forward to getting more red packets in the coming years!!! Hohohoho...
Stop #3 Second aunt Er Gu's house: Yummy lunch to be served! I love eating at my Er Gu's house and it brings me lots of memories of my late Ah Ma. My Er Gu looks a lot like my Ah Ma. Eating her food is like eating my Ah Ma's cooking. I ate a lot of pig's stomach ya and potato chips. Learnt how the 6D works in malaysia.
Stop #4 Back at home @sg: Clearing the customs didn't take long this time. Got good to clear the customs at 3 plus! Not much cars from Malaysia to Singapore. But it's not the case for the opposite side... got jam from Singapore to Malaysia. I was pretty shagged on the journey home and by the time I reached home, I quickly headed to my cosy corner to visit dreamland. I nap quite long till I got woken up suddenly by my dad. Urged to take a bath and scolded for sleeping so long. We were going to be super late for our next house-visiting. Stop
Stop #5 Ah Gu's house: This time is to send new year greetings to my maternal side's relative. Everyone would gather here and this makes house-visiting a lot easier.. haha~ My mummy had many siblings!!!! Including her, there are 11 children in the family, 2 boys and 9 girls. Hohoho... we were overwhelmed with handshakes and "Happy New Years" when we reached. Of course, my sister and I had endless of red packet given to us. Happy Happy!!! Had nice little chats with my aunts, uncles, and cousins. Oh my, I am graduating soon and most of my relatives were like saying "welcome to the workforce, the cruel society". How I wish I can study longer and delay my working life's start... hohoho... introducing to you little BingYang. 
A darling who is caring to "elders", followed my mummy around and gave her a little green stool to rest on.
Stop #6 4th Aunt Si Yi's house: This is a place where the gamblers gather to exchange pointers. I participated along with my cousin Darius. It was the first time that juniors were allowed in the game of World Pool aka In-Between. A long session of fun and laughters, guts and luck! I lost $7 in the end... hohoho.. I didn't pay a single cent to play, with my mei mei and papa as my investors. Not only we play with our own cards, we can join in sponsoring good set of cards.. haha~ fun fun. Huat ah!!!

I guess I should have recorded my illness history since day 1 of my sick-sick period. Today is 18th day to be sick. There is nothing to be proud of. But realised how vulnerable one can be when we are not in good health. Physically and emotionally unstable these few days. Relationships are hard to maintain and to make them last. It is the last leap of undergraduate studies and perhaps everyone is busy with something with own agenda and plans for the future. Still, I feel very isolated somehow. Reading friends' blog and found out that I missed out a lot. They had gatherings together but I wasn't asked. I think friends start to give up on me to ask me out bah. Feeling paranoid... I guess I am not a nice person to get along with and that explains why I have little friends. I hate to log in my MSN these days, the number of online friends are so long but sadly, at times, I can't find one to talk to.. to tell my ups and downs to... to get to know how I am doing lately. How pathetic can bubu be? I shall be more independent and strong ba, learn to do things on my own, keep things to myself, lead my own life without much friends.
No, it's not PMS now for me. I hope to post a happy post the next time.
Hmmm... frankly speaking, I'm not excited yet. I guess as I grow older, I get excited over CNY less easily. Need to listen to more chinese new year songs ah. My mummy had decorated the house with a lot of red accessories. This time I did my CNY shopping earlier. In fact, I got all my clothes from Jurong Point in one day. I'm an efficient shopper! But but, spent $140 plus at one go, quite a lot of money man. Got 3 packets of hongbao from the courtesy of Jurong Point.
Many things to do, so little time
1. Got 2 quizzes to study (Biomaterials, Microelectronics Process Integration)
2. FYP report writing (lazy to start and hard to get started, any DUMMIES for writing FYP reports?)
3. Apply for jobs (so many jobs to choose from, will they want me?!!??)
4. Research for Professional Communication project
5. Brush up my driving skills (hope to pass my practical test with my second attempt)
6. Knit a scarf for myself (no wool, forgotten skills)
7. Make presents for friends
8. Need lots of sleep to get well soon (today is the 17th day of being sick, I AM SICK OF BEING SICK!!!!)

One day before the the school reopens for my last semester of my uni life. I went out with my sec 4 friends and had a fun-filled gathering at Essential Brew located at Holland Village. It was my 3rd time there, first time going there with friends and it was definitely a wonderful new experience. 5 of us, spoilt for choices for food.. so we share food loh, so that we all get to try a bit of everything we ordered. Sharing food was fun man... and the food did not disappoint us and kept us going... the desire to order more grew... haha~

One month has passed le. And here comes the photos.. haha~ I'm seriously lagging behind the pace of my life.
Hi hi, early greeting for the new CNY coming in less than a month's time. It's going to be a glowing pig year. Though it may sound lazy ya but actually it's going to be a transition phase of my life man. Change from mugging girl to working woman. Who like change? The only thing which remains constant is change itself. Frankly speaking, I'm not ready for this big CHANGE. Made a big step by giving resumes to interested companies during the career fair. However, I feel I lack sincerity cos seems like dumping a general resume to them. Chances are slim that I would be called for interview bah. Need to work harder in my job hunt. Haha, making minimal effort in searching la cos scared of going to work too soon that I won't get to give myself a break before slogging for decades of my life.
My life is getting boring and I feel faraway from some of my close friends le. Boring as in, there is nothing happening in my life, no new challenges, not learning anything new, not motivated.... As for my friends.... hmmm... not all are drawing away from me, just a few. But "few" also makes me sad and insecure at times. I thought as people grow older, relationships grow strongers, and the more friends you get... but this is not the case for me bah. I'm scared that I'll die a lonely soul with no people to give my family condolences. I don't want to only have friends when I'm low and down. I also want to share my happiness with them too.
I was happy that an old friend asked me out for a chat recently. Little do I know that she wanted to get me into single-level marketing. She was trying very hard to get me into it. Put me into a dilemma and paranoid about her kind intentions. Not feeling positive about any future get-together with her again. I still don't know whether she is my friend...
