~*~ What have I been up to this holidays? ~*~
I had a busy holiday this time round! Many many many things to do and learn. Tests, projects, lessons, failures.... many experiences. Many first times...
Japanese lessons Wahaha~ I remembered taking Japanese Language lessons with Li Ling and Miao Ling during our long break before our entry to the university. I even proceeded on to the intermediate level. However, my understanding standard was still very poor then despite taking so many lessons. I had difficulty catching up with the intermediate lessons and didn't even fully memorise my hiragana and katakana characters which are the basis foundation (must know!). Taking Japanese Language Level 1 in university this intersemester is a totally new and wonderful experience. To me, it's no longer a paid-for lesson, it can be said to be free. It's my 6th general elective afterall, so it's extra and purely for interest sake, not for meeting my course requirement in school. Finally, I am able to read hiragana and katakana characters. Other than these, I have learnt many vocabulary words in Jap and sentence structures. Learning Japanese in 4 weeks is no easy business. It's hard to remember so many words and what particles to be used in different sentence structures. I took the exam yesterday and I was very happy to know that I have finally grasped the basic level of this language. Not wasting of time this time round.
Tioman Island trip A get-away trip with my girlfriends: Ivy, Li Ling and Miao Ling. First time embracing the sea with a new way- with a tube and with a oxygen tank! Fun fun~ and my discovery scuba diving master was called Funny (Interesting name~*) Too bad, I didn't have my own camera... but I left many shots in all friends' digicam. Tioman island is such a beautiful island with very clear water. Snorkelling allowed us to see corals, clown fish, many unidentified fishes, sea urchins... I was pretty scared to be so close to the fishes and they are so big and alive... oh my, I screamed loh, as usual... Diving was exciting and amazing to be able to breathe under the sea with ease. But it was very difficult to breathe with the regulator above sea, will start to pant. As we decend below the sea level, the panting ceased and the fear of mask slipping away from the face diminish too. The pressure was high as we go lower and for every metre we decend, there is a need to equalise ourselves by pinching our nose tight-tight and blow out the air from our ear. That was tough and painful to the ears! I saw an eel hiding on the sea bed... that was so incredible. Unagi don floated on my mind... haha~ I think I cannot eat the one I see la... not very appetizing enough... <*> Go http://bubulandfoto.blogspot.com to see shots from this fun-filled trip
I still can't drive on my own yet~* This is just an announcement: I failed my 1st practical test attempt. (full-stop) Very sad actually... don't feel like too much about it. I will go for more revision lessons.
FYP- started Yappies people, I've started my FYP. Still learning how to synthesize my photocatalyst properly. I have joined the Kiasu family. So far no results, cos I have not complete synthesize my stuff... so time-consuming man!~*
DIY Earrings Making own earrings with materials bought by myself. Doing it as a hobby~ Feeling like a designer~* <*> Go http://bubulandfoto.blogspot.com to see my creations ::JulyOsiX Collection::
