~*~ FYP FYP and FYP ~*~
There is a lot of movements in MSE recently, covered with footsteps of the propective year 4 students. Everyone is very enthusiatic about getting a FYP and a good tutor. 2 types of people thus emerges, the first type is the super kiasu type who started approaching professors even before the official starting day while the second type is the wait-and-see how type. I think I belong to the second type of people. Being in IA makes approaching profs hard cos I don't go to school for lessons and it's very inconvenient for both me and the prof to meet outside school hours. So, I decide to wait-and-see. Occasionally, I would go the the MSE staff website to see the field which the profs are in but most of the time, I hear news and get info from my friends. (I'm lazy too). To me, there is no particular field I want to venture in my FYP, thus this makes me open to more options. I'm not a choosy kind of person. Whatever good opportunity comes, I would grab it! It's very annoying to be hearing a lot on FYP thingy lately.
Yippees, I got a FYP le! No fear, no politics, no worries for the moment.
Haha~

~*~ Happy IA-ing @ ExxonMobil ~*~
WHY?
I work in an environment where there are lots to learn and there aren't office politics as what other places face. Getting in touch with the real equipments which produce lots of profits, see the mechanisms of how things fail, not left out when there are freebies (haha~), understanding how things work, helpful engineers who are always willing to clear my doubts, having projects of my own.... they are the reasons why I like IA. Feeling useful as a student and an engineer-wanna-be in the IA company.
Something I don't like to hear and I always hear it all the time...
"When are you give a treat since your IA allowance is so high, while we are just getting...."
"What, your job seems so simple, I don't mind exchanging with you and you are paid so high and I'm doing all the shit work."
"Hey, you are earning quite a sum hor, why not you pay more for the present..."
These are irritating sentences I dislike most now and I hear them most of the time. I not trying to show off or saying that I'm smart but I can only state that I've earned it myself to get into this company for IA, not that I use my money, body or bootlick. The money earned is intended for savings to pay my debts after I graduate (going to graduate with debts loh cos of the expensive tuition fee we got) and not for being showy and give treats. But before saying these sentences, can you please try to remember of times when you are earning lots and never even give treats or offer to pay more for meals or for presents. So, please shut up...

~*~ Eye Twitch ~*~
My right eye has been twitching for a couple of weeks periodically. Sometimes pretty irritating to having this little muscle at the eyelid jumping uncontrollably. The Chinese superstitious way of saying is that if your right eye twitches, it's a bad omen.. if it's the left then wealth is on the way. I don't think so la, so I went to search in yahoo and came across this blogs, interesting to know that so many people are have eye-twitching problems, I'm not a alone!

Common eye-twitching causes are: fatigue, lack of sleep, too much caffeine, lack of vitamins, too much staring at the computer screen...
What do you think?
