~*~ Final semester as an undergraduate ~*~
Those were the days
Hmm... I was listening to songs on my laptop. Those were the days went I on my laptop and a loud "bommm" sound would disturb my hall-mates.... the days when I left my laptop on through the day to download mp3 songs from napster and mIRC... the days when I need to spend 20 mins to walk to south spine's MLT (old name for biggest LT in NTU) for common engineering lectures early in the morning cos I know I can't cannot onto the shuttle bus from hall 15.... times when my friend just drop-by my room to borrow tutorials from me... late night chats with my roomie.... great snacks from canteen 2...
Above mentioned were my memories from my first semester in NTU as a freshie.... yap, those were the days. Wow... time really flies (what a typical phrase)... currently into the final lap of my undergraduate life. If I were to choose again... I would want to be more proactive... do some research projects offered to me (I just ignored them... a bit of regrets for letting chance slip), I would still choose dennis as my boyfriend, I would want to take cheap or free workshops on photoshop, dreamweaver, flash....
Just some reflections on my uni life... randoms thoughts... messy writing!! Haha~
Stressful week coming up!!!!!
2 quizzes
1 simulation assignment due
1 submission of fyp final report
1 oral presentation
These are making bubu feel stressful and worried. Thinking of them makes bubu unable to concentrate. I want to go out and eat hao liao... I want to go swimming... I want to go on a holiday!!!! Arghhhh....
Buffet time!!!
Went to Vienna Restaurant located at United Square to celebrate my sister's birthday.

~*~ Ren Ri's Feast versus 1-day Batam trip ~*~
1-Day Batam Trip: 11th March '07
Here are my photos on my first trip to Indonesia. I went to Batam with darling and his police volunteer friends.
En route to Batam via Ferry from HarbourFront

There are rules to obey in the ferry
A big shopping mall located near the jetty. Looks like ikea ah...
A&W in Indonesia!!!

Our lunch arranged nicely before our arrival. But I am not used to the food. Either too spicy or too salty. I even ate green chili by mistake... gosh.
Imitation time outside the Da Bo Gong Temple
The coconut is only S$1 and it is bigger than darling's head!!!
After a traditional body massage. Satisfied customers: Dennis and bubu. S$20 per person. Value for money. Full 1.5hour of good quality massage + a free cup to ginger tea after the session. I was so shy, cos need to strip my top and wrap myself with towel.
Somewhere was burning something. Air pollution taking place in front of my own eyes. Yucks, black smoke.
Seafood for dinner. I find it more enjoyable than the lunch.

Ferry journey back. Tired but happy!
Ren Ri 2007
It was on a saturday and many weeks ago. It happens on the 7th day of the lunar year and for the Chinese, it is everyone's birthday. That was why my family celebrated it at Crystal Jade Kitchen @JP. Haha~ actually my mummy was very interested in eating "peng cai" which I call the dry version of buddha jump over the wall dish. It cost us more than $100 (can't remember the exact price) for 6 pax. Participants were Daddy, Mummy, Xiao Mei Zi, Sixth Aunt, and Darling Dennis. I find the peng cai tasty and full of hao liao (good stuff). Ingredients include: Bei Gu (mushroom), big oysters, big prawns, pig's tongue, pig's trotters, pig's skin, etc... I ordered durian pudding for dessert, I still think real durians are nicer.

~*~ Take a break ~*~

I guess I have been taking breaks, short and long. What is making me feel so tired and sleepy these few days. I am not stressed even the FYP first draft deadline is nearing.
Just for laughs
-Found these interesting graphics while browsing strangers' blog
Though I learnt a bit of Japanese in school. I still cannot understand what the sentences mean. Just read the English sentences and pictures would give some hilarious information.

Creative ways to recycle your printers (ideas from HP):
1) As a flower pot

2) As a rack

What have I done? Looks familiar?
