~*~ Good to have the Internet now! ~*~
I'm very grateful of the invention of the Internet. Really allows me to surf the net and go over countries's boundaries to source for information. It also let me stay connected with my boyfriend ah. Webcam, Msn, Skype, Internet data calls.. I am really happy with these inventions! One being in Israel and one being in Singapore. We can talk and see each other. Catching up with what's happening in each other's lives. He also got a blog started before leaving Singapore for Israel... can go and visit his bloggie if u are interested in living there (Man in Haifa-yingquan.wordpress.com).
Updates on boyfriend
Many friends asked me how is my boyfriend doing. Thank you for the concern ah. He has managed to find an accomodation near his workplace (Technion). Saves $ on transportation. Everything there is expensive but the accomodation is pretty affordable, comparable to Singapore's rental flat fees bah. He got a whole apartment to himself, it's a one-room apartment equipped with bathroom, kitchen and living room. Sounds pretty good sia. As for his work, he is officially starting some lab research today! He not available on Msn while I am working. So, today he starts to do experiment le bah. No longer eat snake le. I hope that he can brush up on his cooking skills lah, if not, he will be very ke lian when his house-mate comes back to singapore in about 2 weeks' time. Wahaha~ actually pretty challenging for him to buy ingredients cos everything is in Hebrew there man... and the variety is not as wide as in Singapore. I heard from him that the only meat he had is chicken.. poor thing... must be missing pork a lot lot ah... *evil laughs*
And yes, we are still together!
Bubu's plans
~*~ Do intensive lab work and hopefully can publish some papers this year ah
~*~ Be prepared for my confirmation review examination (if fail ah, I will get kicked out from PhD programme)
~*~ Going to Japan with mum and meimei in 2 weeks' time!!! Yipee yaya~*
~*~ Go find my darling by the end of the year (subject to changes la, he may come back anytime, depends on his work schedule bah)
~*~ Continue with my kickboxing lessons (it forces me to exercise very week ah-->good for the mind and soul la)
~*~ Upload and comment on the food I have tried and like a lot (will post up photos and give a little review bah, not sure interesting anot)
~*~ Learn jewellery making (now I know how to make earrings, need to progress to bracklets and necklaces, now boyfriend not around to scold me for buying so much beads, haha)
~*~ Try to make my complexion better, in case got big events coming up sia (sigh, facials are expensive ah)

~*~ I'm not alone! ~*~
Thank you all for being so concerned with me! I am alright and trying to adapt to my new lifestyle without my darling by my side. It's going to be a tough period of the both of us being so far apart. But I do believe that technology now is good enough as we can still communicate almost everyday and we are actually not that apart as what the physical distance is. May we be more independent in our research and field, may our love grow stronger!
I'm pretty busy these days, so won't feel lonely la. I have my cheapo and cute mp3 player to accompany me while en-routing to school or going home. (Pretending to be) super focused and diligent with my lab work... grind-and-heat routine, doing XRD. Be good to my skin and work hard to reduce my blemishes.. haha~ Many soft toys to sleep with me through the nights.
Saving up for my trip to Israel to visit my darling. Heehee~ not sure the exact visiting time but surely is this year. Things are costly over there. A Burger King's meal is worth S$16 while a raw egg costs S$0.70-0.80. High standards of living ah.
