On my way home today, on the train...

girl: I'm going to find my dad afterwards.
teacher: Where are you going to look for him?
girl: He works in Yio Chu Kang.
teacher: I see.
girl: My mum is not dead yet.
...silence from teacher...
girl (louder): My mum is not dead yet.
*bubu wants to faint*

When I was a kid, I always ask my mum the same question (in Mandarin)...
Me: Mummy, why people die?
Mum: Because they don't drink lots of water.
Me: I'm scared that you die.
Mum: No, I won't cos I drink lots of water.
Me: So I won't die so soon when I drink lots of water?
Mum: Yes, definitely. See, I drink lots of water and I'm so healthy.
...Lil' Bubu went to drink lots of water...
Moral of the story: You will have a long life if u drink lots of water!
