~*~ Happiness and frustrations to vent out ~*~
We are going to be officially engaged this coming Oct. Beginning next year, we hope to be proud owners of our new flat... but we are not really married... going to still stay apart until our Chinese customary procedures that will be done in the next 2-3 years.
Many friends and relatives have expressed their concerns or over-concerns, and I feel that our decisions are our own choice. What's wrong in having the ROM solemnisation and the customary procedures apart? What's wrong with buying a resale flat? What's wrong with staying with the in-laws? What's wrong with staying near the wife's family? What's wrong with buying a 5-room flat? What's wrong with signing up for a ROM package first and then later decide on a good studio to do our bridal package? What's wrong with everyone? I'm sick of explaining all these very private issues with people and different people have different preferences. And I'm not in the rush because I'm pregnant k... I'm not pregnant currently. Thank you and shut up.
