Some cheerful notes
I have just completed training for the new FE-SEM at my workplace. Feeling contented to be one of the few pioneer users. The equipment has many value-added features and shall be very useful to my research. Hopefully I can strike out one of the item in my wish list by end of this year.. i.e. to have an academic publication (may be far-fetched but I will work hard in this last month of the year to at least finish drafting out a manuscript).
Dennis is successful in his career switch. Next time I will have to go holidays with him during the peak period of school holidays. Regardless of the negative feedbacks of being a public educator, I give him my well wishes and may he succeed and be happy in his new-found job. It's a golden rice bowl after all.
